COVID-19

Please screen your children before they come to school and keep them home if they have any of the following symptoms: 

According to DESE and DPH guidelines for Covid-19 if your child has any of these symptoms they cannot be in school and will be sent home by the School Nurse.  They will not be allowed on the school bus.  They will need to be picked up by a guardian.  

  • Fever 100 degrees or higher, chills, or shaking chills

  • Cough (not due to other known cause, such as a chronic cough-A Doctor’s written diagnosis is required for chronic cough)

  • New loss of taste or smell

  • Sore Throat

  • Headache, when in combination with other symptoms 

  • Muscle aches or body aches

  • Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea

  • Fatigue, when in combination with other symptoms

  • Nasal congestions or runny nose (not due to other known causes, such as allergies-A Doctor’s written diagnosis is required for allergies) when in combination with other symptoms

If your student has any of these symptoms, call their Doctor. They need an alternate diagnosis or a negative Covid-19 test to return to school. If not, they need to quarantine for 14 days before returning to school. This is per DESE and DPH guidelines to keep all students and community members safe.
