Dear Families,
The East Brookfield Elementary School Kindness Council is working on their community service learning project for December. We are once again partnering up to help the local Toys for Joy committee to help spread a little holiday cheer.
This year we have decided to sell candy cane grams to help raise money for the Toys For Joy organization in town. Your child will have the opportunity to purchase candy cane grams for their friends and/or staff members at E.B. Elementary for $1.00 each. You can also send a candy cane gram to your child as well. All candy cane grams will be distributed the week of December 20th.
Anyone interested in purchasing candy cane grams should return their sheets and money to school in an envelope labeled with “candy grams” plus your child’s first and last name and the name of their teacher no later than Thursday, December 9. This will give us time to present the donations to the Toys for Joy committee to be used this year. This is an excellent way to help others, and we hope that you can be part of this important effort.
