Good Morning SEBRSD Community,
We are receiving word that some families did not receive the automated call and text message that were sent out shortly after 5 a.m. this morning regarding the icy road conditions causing us to pivot to remote learning for the day.
As you are all likely aware, we were extremely pleased to announce the launch of our mobile app this school year. This app offers great resources to families, including notification alerts, and significantly streamlines our communications operations. For clarification, our notification phone calls and text messages are also sent from the same platform and the contact information used to contact our families is derived directly from each student’s Power School record, where your contact information is stored. If you did not receive a text and/or phone-call, please call or email your school secretaries with your preferred mobile and/or home phone number so they can verify/update your contact information on file. This should ensure that you receive notifications going forward.
If you haven’t done so already, please be sure to download the SEBRSD app and opt-in to receive notifications at the District level to receive real-time alerts on your mobile device, as well.
Text messages delivered will come from “98901”. Phone calls will have our main 508-885-8500 callback number.
If you have any questions, please reach out to your school secretaries or the Help Desk/Technology Department.
East Brookfield Elementary: 508-885-8536 or salihp@sebrsd.org
Wire Village: 508-885-8524 or spencek@sebrsd.org

Due to road conditions, the Spencer-East Brookfield RSD and its administrative offices will work remotely today, Wednesday, January 27, 2021. The District apologizes for the late notice. Concerns for student and staff safety arose as conditions remain icy and slick.
