We would like to recognize Ms. MaryEllen Amodeo & Mr. Nick Pantecuso as Wire Village School’s "Employees of the Month for October 2020!"
MaryEllen Amodeo: Mary Ellen joined the Wire Village family several years ago and has been an integral member of the third grade team ever since. Looking back, she always welcomes others to her classroom, from college students beginning their studies in elementary education to hybrid teaching… Teaching both the students in her classroom and those at home during their remote week. She continually seeks ways to refine and grow her skills and practices.
Nicolas Panteusco: Nick joined our Wire Village family last year as our school adjustment counselor with an extensive background in working with elementary students. With his mild manner and funny sense of humor, he became an asset to both students and families as well as helping staff in meeting the needs of students. His work did not end in the summer, as he produced self-help videos for staff and students aimed at helping parents, families and students and staff with the transition back to school. “Just Think Week,” a production focused upon self-help and transition, while another video series featured a conversation with “Mrs. Doubtwire,” where he helped parents (and students) reflect on the differences with remote learning last spring versus what it looks like now.
Congratulations to Ms. Amodeo & Mr. Pantecuso! #WireVillageRocks #Progress #Unity #Knowledge @MASchoolsK12 @MassTeacher @MASCSchoolComm
