In Case You Missed It... Earlier this week at the 2024 SWCL Outdoor Track & Field Championships, the David Prouty High School Boys & Girls Track and Field teams put up an awesome showing...
The boys finished 11th with 8 points, all from Logan Josti's second place finish, and season best throw, in the shotput. Chris Pinkowski had a season best in the 400m hurdles and Landen Blodgett had a personal record in the 400m dash.
On the girls side, the team ended up in 6th place with 40 points. Jorelys Ignacio finished 5th in javelin, Bailey Falletti finished 3rd in shot put, Eliana Barnett finished 4th in long jump, 3rd in triple jump, and 2nd in the 100m dash. The highlight of the meet was the girls 4 by 100m relay of Morgan Kates, Grace Kates, Zoe Barnett, and Eliana Barnett, crossing the finish line 3 seconds before every other team, while setting both a school record and a meet record of 51.64.
